Warranty & Tech Support Policy
Higher Definition provides a 30 day replacement warranty on all products with the exception of some refurbished products which will be clearly marked otherwise on the order form and the web page (as is or no refund). As with all warranties, abuse voids warranty. In the case of a product failure and replacement, the product will be returned at Higher Definition cost. Handling fee as listed below DOES NOT APPLY in the case of a warranty replacement.
Please note products that are to be returned for replacement will require all original packing and accessories.
Prior to returning a item please contact the manufacturers tech support department to confirm that the item is faulty and request an incident number. In order to obtain a RMA number please contact email@example.com and provide your order number, product and description of problem. Please also include a incident or reference number from the manufacturer. If you return an item without a RMA, an exchange cannot be processed. Please Note: A RMA number sometimes takes a few days to be issued. The 30 day limit is based on when you request the RMA, not when we issue it.
After 30 days all product warranties and tech support are provided by and administered by the manufacturers of the products. Please contact manufacturers directly regarding any claims or questions.
NOTE: NO RETURNS ON MOBILE VIDEO OR IN WALL SPEAKERS ONCE INSTALLED.SPECIAL RETURN CONDITIONS ON VIDEO PROJECTOR LAMPS
All video projector lamps will be covered under warranty by the original manufacturer. The warranty period on replacement bulbs is generally 90 days from time of purchase. Any defective bulbs / warranty claims will be handled directly by the manufacturer. Due to lack of tractability and previous abuse, Higher Definition will under no circumstances accept any returns or provide credit on projector replacement lamps.
In order to maintain extremely low prices on all our products. Higher Definition cannot provide units for customers to "test drive".
Unlike many retailers Higher Definition never sells unit which have been previously sold, returned and repackaged as a new unit.
If a unit is returned it must be inspected, tested and then sold as a refurbished unit. This results in a large loss to our company.
If you are not completely satisfied with a unit purchased from us you may return it within 30 days of receipt of item subject to the following:
Software once opened is non returnable
A handling / service fee of 20% of unit price plus original shipping costs based on Fedex 3 day published rates will be deducted from refund. If upgraded shipping method was used this cost is non refundable.
Unit must be in Factory New Condition and complete with all accessories, and original packaging. The cost of any repairs and or replacement of missing accessories will be deducted from refund.
Unit must be returned to us at your cost via UPS ground or USPS ground INSURED for full value. Please retain the tracking number for your records.
Prior to returning a item please contact firstname.lastname@example.org for a RMA number. If you return an item without a RMA number, the shipment will be refused . Please Note: A RMA number sometimes takes a few days to be issued. The 30 day limit is based on when you request the RMA, not when we issue it. Unit must be returned to our warehouse with 15 days of issuance of RMA number
If any warranty seals have been tampered with or if you have modified or abused the unit in any way (3H upgrades, dents, etc.) No refund will be issued.
If more than 30 days has elapsed since receipt of item (based on courier records) Under no circumstances will a refund be issued.
